Refund and Returns Policy

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help. 

Need help? 

Please contact us by WhatsApp or phone at 074 744 22 88 before you return any item.  In almost all cases we can guide our clients to solve issues without the inconvenience of returns. Problems experienced are very seldom caused by the equipment itself, as we only sell top quality products from reputable suppliers which are properly quality assured and certified before shipment. 

Returns and refunds 

You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it to qualify for a refund subject to undermentioned conditions. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. 

Your item must be in the original packaging and reach us without damage caused by anyone but ourselves. 

Your item needs to be returned with proof of purchase from us included. 

Once we receive your unused item with original packaging, we will inspect it for external damage.  We will notify you of the status of your returned item and eligibility for refund as soon as possible within 2 workdays after received.

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your bank account or your credit card or original method of payment as we may choose.  You must provide bank info for refund in writing.

We will send proof of payment or refund to the mobile number or email provided by you. You must check and report any discrepancy within one workday. We are not liable if wrong bank info was given for refunds.

If you think you haven’t received the agreed refund, please check your bank account again and contact your bank or credit card company.  It may take some time before your refund is officially posted by your bank due to interbank and other delays beyond our control. 

Exchanges 

If you want to exchange an item for another item, send us an email at berien@berien.co.za.  If accepted then send your item to: Berien, 113 Stilgeleë Avenue, Die Wilgers, Pretoria, 0184. Please note that once sealed packages are opened,  pipes and masks cannot be exchanged due to cross-infection risks. 

Warranty and repairs

All machines are tested before we ship or hand over to customers.  The normal factory backed repair warranty is applicable to machines and excludes damage due to accident, water damage, power surges or misuse or any cause beyond control of factory or ourselves.   We will quote and charge for repairs only if not covered by warranty.  We only exchange items within 2 weeks after delivery to you, if they have factory defects. 

If you do not accept the quote for inspection and repair, a fee of R300 (January 2022 ZAR value) will be payable before return or handover. The same fee applies for inspection in case of ‘no fault found’. If we have not received the amount within 3 months from quote or invoice, the machine will not be returned and are forfeited to us for disposal and/or to recover costs and we will not be liable for any losses whatsoever.

Shipping returns 

To return your product, you must deliver or send the item courier paid to: Berien (Pty) Ltd, 113 Stilgeleë Avenue, Die Wilgers, Pretoria, 0184.  You may also send it using your Postnet to Postnet, Equestria, Pretoria.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for delivery at our registered address or returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

We will ship within 3 workdays. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for the shipped item to reach your address should be less than one week. but may vary beyond our control.

You are responsible for your own insurance while the product is in transit to or from our premises.
